For all ages. We have used these in 6-9 year olds geography groups right up to Environmental Management and Geography GCSE. Great for anyone who just wants to learn about the world in a more hands-on way.
This session was put together for an 8-11 year old group, but is easily adapted to a younger audience. The material covers how scientists look at problems, disproving a theory, sharing stories & story telling, thinking about how we ‘know’ things and making a 3D dinosaur.
This mini-booklet was created for a pre-GCSE geography group, although there is much overlap with the GCSE syllabuses. It looks at coastal erosion, how waves move, why the sea is blue, how boats float, features of the ocean floor and the Great Pacific Garbage Patch.
This was designed for a group for 6-9 year olds, looking at both MRS NERG (or MRS GREN, if that is how you learnt it), and the art of Giuseppe Arcimboldo. The activity is all cutting and sticking.
This game was originally designed for an 8-11 year-olds geography session. The session was on Italy, but as is so often the way with HE, everything can all become quite cross-curricular, hence this game, so it is equally at home in a history or engineering session.
